PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
The objective of this program is to educate the student with the knowledge and skills required to professionally groom all breeds of dogs, based on the standards set by the American Kennel Club. The student will also be educated with the knowledge and skills required to professionally groom cats. Students who complete this program may choose from various career opportunities such as Professional Pet Groomer, Salon Manager or Salon Owner.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Students will have the opportunity to learn the most advanced grooming practices! Five hundred twenty (520) hours will be spent on individualized hands on training and salon management and eighty (80) hours will be spent in theory.
