PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
The objective of this program is to educate and prepare the student to master the basic skills of pet grooming on a variety of dogs based on standards set by the American Kennel Club.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Program includes 40 hours of theory and 260 hours of hands-on training. Designed to teach students how to properly use and maintain equipment, techniques for bathing, brushing and drying all coat types, basic head patterns, clippering, scissoring, thinning and finishing techniques.
